I really wanted to use the werewolf boy for this page, but it seemed a little non sequitur, so I opted to move the story along.
I don't know how well I did. Pacing along the entire project seems a bit shaky in my opinion, but thankfully its meant to be practice, so I'm a little more forgiving of myself. I usually expect the utmost when I plan out my Moku pages. Maybe that's why they take so long.
Of course, I felt it necessary to help reinforce the baseball stadium feel, so I added some garbage on the ground as a bit of help. My seats leave something to be desired, however.
I really need to practice some alternate face positions. I rely rather heavily on the standard resting position for my characters, so that's something to work on, especially for the high action comics for the SDL and DAWGs coming up.
Wow, I really, really like her expressions when she's looking for the seat 8DDD Those are some top-notch hands in those two panels o_o
I can't draw "salute" hands worth beans lol :V
The trash was a VERY nice touch ;>
-- "Can you turn up the bass?" Sorry gurl, I can't hear in this place-- "I have a request that I'd like to make!" Well, what you wanna hear gurl? Shake like an earthquake?
Meh, I know I could've done better on the hands. I'm glad though that you liked them. It was challenging though.
Yeah, I thought so too. I remember that some people made a comment about the manga style is that it doesn't skimp on the little details. Little things like the trash really help to enhance the reading experience. I thought I'd give it a shot, and it paid off.
Its something I will include in future pages of comics.

There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
